Spelling Clouds®

We use Speech Sounds (phonemes) when we are speaking.
These change depending on a range of factors, including accents.
There is a Universal Code: a way to map Speech Sounds (phonemes) and Sound Pics (graphemes) in order to learn phonics.
Children take 'pictures' of the speech sounds - the Monster Sounds! - and explore what these 'Sound Pics' look like, in different words.
