Ortho-Graphix , from The Reading Hut, stands apart: it's not a phonics programme, but a comprehensive solution designed to bridge the gaps left by synthetic phonics programmes, enabling every child in the UK to acquire reading and spelling skills and every adult to understand how to more effectively teach phonics, regardless of the programme used. Ortho-Graphix achieves 3 main goals:

• Improved Phoneme-Grapheme Awareness: Proficiency of Phonics Teachers who will learn to utilise the IPA and Ortho-Graphix Tools.

• Easy identification and storage of new words in the 'brain dictionary' for ALL children, at any stage of the learning-to-read and spell journey, as the Universal Spelling Code is VISIBLE at the click of a button, or created using Map and Drag.

• Earlier independent reading and writing, higher engagement (interest in learning to map words orthographically!), as 1,2,3 and Away! is incorporated from early (Purple Phonics Code Level) and as Ortho-Graphix is NeuroInclusive.
