Add in Transition Readers to bridge the gap between Code Level (decodable) reading and sight word reading (Orthographic Mapping) Transition Reading overlaps- start using them when students are reading Yellow Code Level Readers. You can also start Levelled Readers eg F&P or PM. They are not the same, however, as our Transition Books are series books, and Orthographically Mapped!
